Gillian Hayward joined WDF in November 2006, and her passion for regional and rural enterprises has been a driving force for her. With roots
in Crookwell, Gillian possesses a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities facing businesses in rural Australia.
Gillian has been instrumental in guiding businesses towards success, leveraging her expertise to drive efficiency and growth.
Reflecting on her promotion, Gillian shares, “I am thrilled to step into the Director role at WDF. I am grateful to live and work in Wagga's
vibrant regional centre, where there are many opportunities. Throughout my time at WDF, I've been fortunate to receive support from strong
mentors, both among the directors and across the wider team. Their encouragement towards growth and their unwavering support have been
invaluable.”
Katy Day's journey with WDF began in 2012 as a cadet accountant, and since then she has developed her skills professionally and personally
to bring her to the point of this promotion. Katy works closely with new and existing businesses. Katy provides the support to ensure
our clients have a successful business journey while navigating the business challenges and provide the help and guidance needed.
Katy says, “I am extremely grateful to have built my career at WDF and am looking forward to my next chapter as a director. I get a great
sense of fulfilment being able to work closely with our clients and assist them through the various stages of their business and I am
looking forward to continuing this with existing and new clients. I have truly enjoyed my journey from cadet to director and for this I owe
thanks to the current directors, our team and our clients.”
