Small Business Grants - Wagga Wagga City Council

Are you a small business looking to expand, improve customer experience or have an innovative idea to implement?
Then the Wagga Wagga City Council maybe able to assist you.
Applications for the Wagga Wagga City Council grants are now open and will close the 13th May 2019. There are several categories for non-for-profits but also a category for small business. The purpose of the Small Business grant is to provide local businesses with the financial assistance they need in order to accelerate their business idea or economic growth opportunity.
Small Businesses are eligible to apply for a grant of between $1,000 and $10,000 and need to be able to demonstrate the following:
- minimum level of 50% of actual or in-kind contribution
- They are located in the Wagga Wagga Local Government Area
Category Priorities:
• Expansion of business
• Improved customer experience
• Innovative idea implementation
Examples of Eligible Projects:
• Purchasing new equipment to expand production capabilities
• Implementing a new customer service tool that improves engagement with your clients
• Improved shop front, foot path dining, or product display feature
• Implementation of innovative idea/process in new or existing business
